Carnivorous plants are dependent on meat for sustenance. This need is met by trapping and digesting it's prey. This aged, mossy terra cotta pot contains a hand painted and highly detailed Sarracenia (aka pitcher plant). It is light green with red veins and red blooms.
Bog Garden plants thrive in extremely moist to wet growing medium. Carnivorous plants are dependent on meat of sustenance, trapping and consuming insects. This bog garden consists of hand crafted and painted Mimulus and Peltiphyllum and 3 carnivorous plants. There are two different Butterworts, one in full bloom, and a Venus Flytrap in full bloom.
